Practicing with and Playing for Other Teams

I am not opposed to players practicing or guest playing with other teams. In fact, as our team matures I will certainly encourage players to guest play with other strong teams in the region to get them exposure to college recruiters and gain experience. That's a ways off...

However, if you are going to practice with another soccer team locally it should not interfer with our practices. Some players on our team may play for both our team and the YMCA or their school team. This if fine as long as this does not interfere with our games or practices.

You should also be aware that while our club and team could permit it, YSI strictly forbids players who are not registered with YSI from participating in any YSI practices or games. Doing so puts the coach of the YSI team in jeopordy as well as me.

In all cases, please make me aware that you are participating in functions with other teams in order to avoid potential issues with other clubs or FYSA.
